There is no word regarding Ward's physical condition following a tumor scare last year. In a January 2004 online posting, Algy stated: "I haven't been diagnosed with a tumor as yet, but I'm waiting for the analysis, it could be a glandular problem (hopefully) the doctors don't know, but there's a lump under my skull, behind my left ear, all the same. I have had a tumor before, on my rib cage during 1995, and thankfully that one turned out to be benign, what I do know is that my hearing is in a state, and being near any noise at all is virtually unbearable, whether this is permanent, it is too soon to tell."
